Full job descriptionWe are looking for an experienced FLT Counterbalance Operative to join a busy manufacturing and distribution environment.
This is a varied, hands-on role involving the safe movement of products and materials, along with supporting the preparation and packaging of goods ready for dispatch.
Key responsibilities:
*Operating a Counterbalance FLT to move and position products and materials
*Loading and unloading vehicles safely
*Preparing products for dispatch
*Strapping and securing packaged goods
*Cutting and preparing packaging materials
*Carrying out general warehouse and yard duties
*Maintaining a safe, clean and organised working environment
*Working as part of a busy team to meet daily production and dispatch requirements
About you:
*Valid Counterbalance FLT licence essential
*Previous FLT/warehouse or manufacturing experience (in house licence will be considered/expired)
*Comfortable working outdoors when required
*Happy to be in a hands-on role
*Reliable, safety-conscious and able to work as part of a team
*Good attention to detail
