Full job descriptionTotum Partners is working with a global Law firm who is searching for a Management Accountant to work in their London office (4 days in office and Fridays working from home) and support month-end reporting as well as providing assistance to overseas offices.
Management Accountant Duties:
*Prepare monthly UK management accounts and accompanying analysis
*Assist in the preparation of year-end financial statements and audit requirements and support the production of regulatory and statutory financial reporting
*Coordinate and support the annual budgeting process and analyse variances and provide recommendations to improve financial performance
*Collaborate with department leaders to understand financial performance and support business objectives
*Contribute to the development and enhancement of finance processes and systems and support the implementation of new reporting tools and procedures where required
Management Accountant Experience:
*APPLICANTS MUST BE CURRENTLY WORKING IN A LEGAL OR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES FIRM
*ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified or equivalent
*Experience using Elite 3E/Aderant is highly desirable
*Strong understanding and evidence of preparation of management accounts and month-end experience
*Experience working in a multicurrency environment is highly desirable
