Are you an adaptable Teaching Assistant with experience supporting children across EYFS and Key Stage 1?
Long Term Futures is seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Nuneaton, working across EYFS and Key Stage 1.
This is a varied role supporting whole-class learning, small groups and individual pupils across the younger year groups. There will also be some SEN support involved, so the school is looking for someone who is confident adapting their approach to meet different learning needs.
Key Responsibilities
*Support teaching and learning across EYFS and Key Stage 1.
*Provide whole-class, small-group and 1:1 support.
*Deliver phonics, early literacy and numeracy activities.
*Provide additional support to pupils with SEN where required.
*Adapt activities and resources to meet different learning needs and abilities.
*Support children’s communication, confidence, independence and social development.
*Work closely with class teachers and the wider school team.
What We’re Looking For
*Previous experience working with children across EYFS and/or Key Stage 1.
*Primary school experience is essential.
*Confidence supporting phonics and early learning.
*Some experience supporting pupils with SEN.
*An adaptable approach and confidence working across different year groups.
*Patient, nurturing and proactive.
*Strong teamwork and communication skills.
