Here at GXO, we’re recruiting for a HR Advisor to join our Rockingham operation in Corby. This is a full-time, permanent role, working Monday to Friday, where you’ll deliver a professional HR service across the site, supporting managers and colleagues on all aspects of the employee lifecycle.
Working closely with the wider People Team, you’ll play a key role in supporting employee relations activity, recruitment, engagement initiatives and the successful delivery of the site People Plan while ensuring compliance with employment legislation and company policies.

We’re offering a salary of £30,000.00 to £32,000.00 per annum, plus 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). Your benefits package includes a company sponsored pension scheme, life assurance and access to our benefits platform, including retail discounts
What you’ll do on a typical day:
*Provide HR advice and guidance on employment law, company policies and best practice, supporting managers and colleagues across the operation
*Assist managers with employee relations matters, coaching and developing leadership capability while ensuring consistency in the application of policies and procedures
*Support workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding and organisational change activities, including restructures and consultation processes where required
*Build strong relationships with managers, colleagues and external partners while supporting employee engagement, wellbeing and retention initiatives
*Produce accurate management information, maintain site people data and support continuous improvement projects across the HR function
What you need to succeed at GXO:
*Previous HR Advisor or HR Generalist experience within a fast-paced operational, logistics, warehousing or manufacturing environment
*Strong understanding of UK employment legislation and the ability to apply policy and best practice in a practical and commercial manner
*Excellent communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills with the ability to build credibility at all levels
*Experience managing employee relations cases, supporting the full employee lifecycle and producing meaningful HR reporting
*Ideally CIPD qualified or working towards qualification, with strong organisational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
