Job Description:
Full job descriptionTime Appointments are excited to be working on behalf of a growing and reputable company who are looking to appoint a Transport Planner. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role within the business.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
*Updating and maintaining computer system to ensure all administrative tasks are completed
*Ensure orders and reports are completed within an efficient timeframe
*Briefing and de-briefing drivers daily to ensure they are informed
*Ability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure
*Have an understanding and working knowledge of the UK legislations
Skills & Experience Required:
*Previous experience within a Logistics
*Good understanding of UK legislation or a desire to learn
*Highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills
*Strong attention to detail and customer service orientation
*Proven track record to input data efficiently and effectively
Due to the nature of the role, the business operates Monday to Friday, from 6:00am to 6:00pm. The successful applicant must therefore be flexible and willing to work within these hours. The role may also require occasional Saturday morning working (approximately every third Saturday) and participation in an out-of-hours telephone rota.
