Location – Eccles
Hours – Mon – Fri 7am – 3pm
Salary £14.50ph
You will play a crucial role in supporting our fabrication workshop of the day-to-day operation, reporting directly to the production manager.
This role is hands-on, and you will be responsible for the flow of raw materials/finished goods within the works. The role carries responsibility for maintaining quality control of products from suppliers and products moving between subcontractors and customers.
This role is based in a fast paced and busy manufacturing environment focussing on small batch production and fast turnaround.
Work Activities
*Cross-checking and packing products for shipment to sub-contractors and customers.
*Goods In/Out for returns to suppliers.
*Issuing customer/supplier delivery notes.
*Maintain a clean and tidy store area.
*Assist in improving and implementing quality control procedures within the store’s environment.
*Receive, unpack and visual QA deliveries.
*Liaising with internal departments on any delays and issues.
*Assist with monthly stock takes.
Essential Qualities-
*Flexibility within the role to be able to cover a variety of areas within the production department.
*Able to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail.
*Able to organise & prioritise the workload.
*Must be a team player who can work on their own initiative.
*Able to work to tight deadlines.
*Should have good oral and communication skills.
*Experience in Manufacturing background
*Current FLT licence
