Programme Test ManagerLondon | 6 Month Contract | Umbrella
Up to £750 Per Day
We’re supporting a leading financial services organisation on a major transformation programme and are looking for an experienced Programme Test Manager to lead testing and quality assurance across a complex enterprise technology landscape.
This is a high-profile role where you’ll take ownership of the overall test strategy and quality governance across multiple programmes, ensuring business-critical systems, integration’s, data platforms, and customer outcomes are thoroughly validated and production-ready.
You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, delivery teams, business functions, and third-party suppliers to drive quality standards, manage risk, and deliver successful releases across a large-scale change portfolio.
A deep understanding of the regulatory and governance requirements within Financial Services is essential.
The Role: *Defining and leading enterprise-wide test strategies across complex programmes.
*Driving end-to-end testing across systems, applications, data platforms, integrations, and reporting solutions.
*Managing testing activities across multiple workstreams, suppliers, and delivery partners.
*Ensuring quality, governance, and release readiness across programme deliveries.
*Identifying and mitigating delivery risks while championing best practice quality engineering principles.
*Providing senior stakeholder engagement and reporting at programme and executive level.
*Leading testing teams in both onshore and offshore delivery environments.
Key Experience:*Proven Programme Test Management or Head of Test experience within Financial Services.
*Strong background delivering enterprise-scale testing across complex technology ecosystems.
*Experience managing testing across multi-vendor and outsourced delivery environments.
*Strong understanding of Quality Engineering, Test Management, and SDLC methodologies.
*Experience working across Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery models.
*Excellent knowledge of end-to-end, integration, data, non-functional, and performance testing.
*Experience overseeing testing of data platforms, warehouses, and large-scale transformation programmes.
*Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
*Deep understanding of the regulatory and governance requirements within Financial Services.
