NET Recruit is proud to be partnering with a well-established organisation following a significant merger and refinancing, in their search for a proactive and highly skilled Treasury Manager to join the business on a 9-month fixed term basis.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly created treasury function at an important stage of business integration. The successful candidate will take ownership of financial assets, cash flow and liquidity, working closely with senior Finance leadership to minimise financial risk, manage key funding relationships and optimise working capital.
With significant change and integration activity underway, this role will play an important part in ensuring the business maintains robust funding for its operational requirements whilst developing and embedding effective treasury processes for the future.

Your Role & Responsibilities:
While in this position your duties may include but are not limited to:
*Managing daily cash operations and ensuring effective short- and long-term cash flow forecasting.
*Working closely with Finance, operational teams and wider business stakeholders to ensure integration and migration plans are accurately reflected within cash flow forecasts.
*Acting as the primary day-to-day contact for banking partners and the wider Group.
*Managing credit facilities and banking relationships, including negotiating banking fees where appropriate.
*Ensuring compliance with intercompany loan agreements, asset-backed finance arrangements and hire purchase agreements.
*Preparing regular cash flow variance analysis and investigating the key drivers behind movements in cash performance.
*Producing cash flow, net debt and covenant forecasts for senior Finance and Group stakeholders.
*Providing strategic recommendations to the Finance Director around cash utilisation, funding requirements and drawdown decisions.
*Working with Group Finance to identify appropriate opportunities for investing surplus cash in suitable short-term instruments, whilst ensuring capital is appropriately protected.
*Supporting the effective management and optimisation of working capital.
*Reviewing and improving treasury management and forecasting processes to increase efficiency, accuracy and control.
*Driving automation and continuous improvement across treasury systems and processes.
*Strengthening financial controls and ensuring treasury activities are appropriately governed and documented.
*Supporting the wider Finance team through a period of significant business integration, refinancing and organisational change.
What You Will Need to Apply:
*Proven experience working within a Treasury Manager or similar senior treasury position.
*Experience managing cash flow, liquidity and funding within a complex organisation.
*Ideally, previous experience supporting treasury activity through a merger, acquisition, refinancing or wider corporate integration.
*A relevant professional qualification such as ACT, AMCT, ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
*Strong technical understanding of cash flow forecasting, variance analysis, liquidity management and covenant reporting.
*Experience managing banking relationships and negotiating with financial institutions.
*Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to work effectively with senior Finance leaders, banking partners and Group-level stakeholders.
*Commercial awareness and a strong understanding of financial risk, funding and working capital.
*Experience improving or implementing treasury systems and processes.
*A strong understanding of financial controls, with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for automation and process improvement.
*Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
*The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities during a period of significant change.
