Location: Central Belt of Scotland
Salary: £35,000 basic + uncapped commission, £60,000 OTE

We’re working with an established business that is looking to appoint a Business Development Manager to cover Scotland.
This is a field-based, relationship-led sales role with a strong focus on public sector contracts, new business development and growing existing customer relationships.
The Business Development Manager Opportunity
*Manage and develop your own territory across Scotland.
*Build relationships with new and existing customers.
*Spend significant time visiting clients and attending exhibitions.
*Identify and develop new commercial opportunities.
*Develop a strong sales pipeline and maintain accurate CRM records.
*Attend customer meetings, site visits and industry events.
*Support customers with product selection and project requirements.
*Arrange product demonstrations and training where required.
Must Haves
*Previous experience in B2B sales or business development.
*Experience within one of the following sectors: Food & Drink, Catering Supplies or Public Sector Equipment
*Comfortable working in a field-based sales environment.
*Proven ability to develop new business and manage existing accounts.
*Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
*Commercially driven with a genuine desire to win business.
*Comfortable dealing with multiple stakeholders on larger projects.
*Good organisational skills and the ability to manage your own diary and pipeline.
*Experience using CRM systems.
