Must have’s *Experience in an insurance technician, technical processing or insurance operations role
*Good understanding of insurance principles and the policy lifecycle
*Knowledge of broking, claims, premiums and/or delegated authority
*Understanding of London Market processes and insurance distribution
*Strong organisation skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
*Confident using Excel and relevant business systems
*Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
*CII Cert or equivalent technical knowledge/experience
Nice to have’s *Experience working within the London Market
*Experience checking or quality-controlling colleagues’ work
*Experience supporting or training less experienced team members
*Knowledge of Power BI
*Understanding of the relationship between technical processing and IBA
So, what will you be doing? *Process standard and increasingly non-standard insurance transactions and documentation
*Manage and prioritise your workload to meet SLAs, deadlines and accuracy standards
*Check documentation, data and management information for accuracy
*Identify and resolve routine issues, escalating where needed
*Carry out quality control checks on other technicians’ work
*Support and train less experienced members of the team
*Identify errors, omissions and potential risks and recommend appropriate action
*Work closely with Technical and Broking teams and build strong internal relationships
*Get involved in projects, process improvements and data quality initiatives
*Adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a high level of service
Helpful extras *Solid background in insurance operations or technical processing
*Detail-focused and confident working independently
*Strong understanding of the policy lifecycle and London Market
