CDL Personnel Ltd is looking for a reliable and organised Temporary Payroll Administrator to join our team in Ardleigh, Colchester, starting in October 2026.

Start Date: October 2026
Working Days: Monday – Wednesday
Working Hours: 9:00am – 4:30pm
Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour
Contract: Temporary
The Role
We are looking for a Payroll Administrator to support our team with the day-to-day processing and administration of payroll.

The successful candidate will be organised, reliable and have excellent attention to detail, with the ability to handle confidential employee information professionally.

Key Responsibilities
Processing payroll information accurately and efficiently
Checking timesheets and hours worked
Maintaining and updating employee records
Assisting with payroll queries
Maintaining accurate and confidential records
Supporting general payroll administration
Ensuring payroll deadlines are met
Providing general administrative support when required
About You
The ideal candidate will:

Have previous payroll or payroll administration experience
Be highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Have good IT and Microsoft Office skills
Be confident handling confidential information
Have excellent communication skills
Be reliable and professional
Be able to work independently and as part of a team
Previous experience within recruitment or temporary staffing payroll would be an advantage but is not essential.

What We Offer
£14.00 per hour
Monday – Wednesday working pattern
9:00am – 4:30pm
