We are looking for Support Worker and Senior Support Workers our 4 Bed home supporting 8-18s with LD and complex care.
This will be the chance to be involved and grow with an organisation who want to make a difference. Where the emphasis will be high quality of care.

You will be confident and work with the Registered Manager & Deputy Manager

Do you have experience leading and supervising staff? Do you have Level 3 Diploma Children and Young People?

Senior Support Worker salary
Senior Support Workers £15per hour + £65 per sleep
You will be expected to sleep in after some of your shifts
Support Worker Salary
£14 per hour experienced
Sleeps £65
Apart from standard A/L we also give an extra day off on Birthdays.
Support Worker and Senior Shift patterns
Usually 2 on 4 off usually 1 sleep in per shift.
Shift patterns are
Days 0730 – 2200
Nights 2130 – 0800
Senior Support Worker Duties include
• Supporting and managing the staff team to meet the needs of the young person
• Planning each shift and ensuring resources are allocated appropriately
• Working with external professionals to deliver positive outcomes
• Providing supervision and support to staff in line with Quality Standards
• Supporting the young person to engage in education
• Ensuring their health needs are met
• Providing advice, support and guidance
• Managing complex behaviours and crisis intervention
• Administering and recording medication
• Maintaining daily records and administrative work
• Contributing to the care planning process
• Liaising with external stakeholders and our multidisciplinary team
• Attending mandatory training
• Engaging in team meetings
• Maintaining the home (laundry, cleaning, shopping, cooking, etc.)
Senior Support Worker Requirements
Please note applicants MUST meet the following requirements;
*Able to work Full time
*A full UK driving license ( preferred )
*Right to work in the UK (we do not offer sponsorship)
*An understanding that this role will require that you undertake Enhanced DBS checks
*You need to be able to work flexibly in caring for the children. This will include working shifts and sleep-ins with full-time and part-time hours being available.
*Experience working and supporting 6-18 year old with EBD, challenging behaviour and complex care.
*You will have some experience supporting children or young people with EBD.
*Seniors MUST have NVQ level 3 Children Residential plus 2 years Support Work experience(Children’s)
Support Worker requirements
*Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare or equivalent qualification is desirable; however training will be available.
*Experience of supporting vulnerable young people within a residential care environment, or similar youth worker experience.
*You will be compassionate, resilient, committed to being a positive role model and confident in managing challenging behaviours.
*Flexible and able to work a residential care rota which includes evening, weekends and holiday periods and sleep ins.
*Have supported children with LD and complex needs
*Hold a valid UK driving licence.
