Are you an organised and detail-oriented Payroll professional looking for your next opportunity? We’re recruiting for a Payroll & Attendance Administrator to join a growing business, where you’ll play a vital role in ensuring payroll and attendance records are accurate, compliant and processed efficiently.
Working closely with HR, Finance and departmental managers, you’ll take ownership of employee time and attendance data, ensuring all payroll information is validated before being submitted to an external payroll bureau.
The RoleAs the Payroll & Attendance Administrator, your responsibilities will include:
*Managing and maintaining employee time and attendance records.
*Monitoring clocking-in and clocking-out systems.
*Recording holidays, sickness, absences and lateness.
*Validating payroll information before submission to an external payroll bureau.
*Producing attendance, absence and working hours reports.
*Investigating and resolving payroll and attendance discrepancies with managers.
*Ensuring compliance with company policies, employment legislation and GDPR.
*Supporting HR and Finance with payroll-related queries and audits.
*Assisting with payroll automation projects and the implementation of new HR/payroll system enhancements.
*Identifying opportunities to improve payroll processes and attendance accuracy.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you’ll have:
*Previous experience in Payroll Administration, Time & Attendance or HR Administration.
*Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
*Experience using time and attendance or clocking systems.
*A good understanding of payroll processes, ideally working with an external payroll bureau.
*Strong organisational and time management skills.
*The ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
*Good Microsoft Excel skills and experience using HR or payroll systems.
*Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues across the business.
