Full job descriptionForklift Truck Operator (Counterbalance)Location: Coalville
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
Shift Pattern: Rotating shifts - mornings and afternoons
A well-established manufacturing business based in Coalville is looking for an experienced Counterbalance FLT Operator to join their team.
This is a great opportunity for someone with previous FLT experience who is comfortable working in a busy warehouse or manufacturing environment and takes pride in working safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities*Safely operating a counterbalance forklift to move materials throughout the site
*Loading and unloading incoming and outgoing goods accurately and efficiently
*Moving, organising and storing stock in accordance with site procedures
*Completing daily forklift and equipment checks and reporting any faults or issues
*Working in line with all company health and safety procedures
*Supporting wider warehouse duties when required
*Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised working environment
Requirements*Valid Category B1 or B2 FLT licence - essential
*Previous forklift experience within a warehouse, manufacturing or similar environment
*Good understanding of workplace health and safety procedures
*Reliable, practical and safety-conscious approach to work
*Ability to work effectively as part of a team
*Flexibility to work rotating morning and afternoon shifts
