Up to £60,000 DOE
NJR Recruitment is currently working with a successful and growing organisation to recruit an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee facilities operations across a portfolio of offices throughout Northern England.
This is a hands-on and commercially focused role, ideal for someone who enjoys a varied position combining day-to-day facilities management with projects, compliance and continuous improvement.
The Role
Based primarily from the Harrogate office, you will take responsibility for ensuring offices across the region remain safe, compliant, efficient and fit for purpose.
Key responsibilities will include:
*Managing facilities operations across multiple office locations.
*Overseeing planned and reactive maintenance, building services and workplace standards.
*Managing contractors, suppliers, landlords and external service providers.
*Ensuring compliance with health & safety and statutory requirements, including fire safety, risk assessments, asbestos, water hygiene and electrical testing.
*Leading office refurbishments, fit-outs, relocations and workplace improvement projects.
*Managing facilities budgets, contracts and supplier performance.
*Conducting regular site visits and workplace audits across Northern England.
*Working closely with senior stakeholders and office leaders to identify opportunities to improve the workplace environment and employee experience.
*Supporting business continuity and emergency response procedures.
About You
We are looking for an experienced Facilities Manager, Regional Facilities Manager or similar with a proven background managing multiple sites.
You will ideally have:
*Strong experience across both hard and soft facilities management.
*Experience managing budgets, contractors and supplier relationships.
*A good understanding of UK health & safety and statutory compliance.
*Experience delivering workplace, refurbishment, relocation or improvement projects.
*Excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
*A proactive, commercially minded and solutions-focused approach.
*The flexibility to travel regularly between regional offices.
Desirable: IWFM Level 4/5, IOSH or NEBOSH qualification, and experience within professional services, financial services or another corporate multi-site environment.
