Full job descriptionWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller to join a fast-growing finance team, based in Mid-Suffolk.
You will support a fast-paced, high volume credit control function.
Responsibilities:
*Manage a portfolio of customer accounts and outstanding debt
*Proactively chase overdue payments by phone and email
*Allocate payments and maintain accurate account records
*Resolve invoice and payment queries promptly
*Reconcile customer accounts and investigate discrepancies
*Monitor aged debt and minimise outstanding balances
*Build strong relationships with customers and internal teams
*Support wider finance and month-end activities as required
Key skills:
*Previous credit control experience
*Confident communicator with excellent negotiation skills
*Strong attention to detail and organisation
*Comfortable working to targets and deadlines
*Good Excel and finance systems knowledge
