Job Description:
Full job descriptionTo deliver quality and care operational support for offices and services, helping to deliver high quality relationship-led home care for older people.
To audit offices against company standards and to provide feedback and reports with actions and outcomes.
Duties Include:
*To immediately bring to the attention of the Head of Quality and Standards any area of concern that places clients and/or company reputation at risk.
*To feed in any input on policies and procedures and to keep up to date with sector knowledge.
*To conduct quality audits, either desktop or in person.
*To produce the Audit Report in line with the timescales agreed.
*To identify in the Audit any areas of concern or areas of excellence.
*To produce and monitor the achievement of action plans that help offices to improve service quality and meet standards in collaboration with relevant National Office departments.
*To liaise with the Business Development Consultants and share areas of concern identified through the Audit.
*To identify opportunities for Business Development Consultants and Operations colleagues to develop and drive continuous improvement and operational excellence across the network.
*To provide dedicated support to new owners joining the network, both new owners of new territories and new owners of re-sale territories to ensure understanding of regulatory obligations and adherence to Standards.
*Provide advice to offices on policies and relevant care & regulatory standards.
*To provide offices with pre and post regulatory inspection support.
*To provide guidance to offices for undertaking effective self-auditing.
*Work with Learning & Development colleagues in devising and delivering training for Care Managers, owners and others as appropriate.
*To undertake risk and crisis management interventions as required which may be in the form of on-site presence for a designated period of time agreed with the National Office Risk Management Team.
*To work with Business Development colleagues in supporting Foundation and offices requiring Growth Optimization support to ensure operational excellence and maintaining Standards.
*To support and provide guidance on Recruitment which may include CV reviews and assisting with interviewing.
*To always uphold and promote the core values of the company
*Contribute to the shaping and achievement of the Quality Strategy.
*Stay up to date with best practice in health and social care.
*Maintain specialist knowledge relating to the legislation and regulatory requirements in each of the four UK nations.
*Attend relevant seminars and courses to ensure continual personal and professional development.
Required Experience:
*Previous experience at a senior level within the health or social care industry from either the public, private or independent sectors.
*Either experience in or very good knowledge of homecare.
*Commercial understanding.
*Excellent communication skills, both in person and in writing.
*Good report writing skills.
*Good IT skills across the Microsoft range and other systems.
*Flexible, professional, and creative mindset and an open and enquiring mind.
*Able to influence.
*Emotionally resilient when dealing with challenges.
*Willingness to travel throughout the UK and stay overnight.
