*Location: Dartford, Kent
*Job Type: Part-time
*Working Hours: 3pm - 6pm, Monday to Friday
We are seeking a dedicated College / School Cleaner to join our team in Dartford, Kent. This part-time role is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our students and staff.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Perform general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to ensure all areas of the college / school are clean and tidy.
*Clean and sanitise restrooms using established practices and procedures.
*Empty all trash cans and replace liners, clean receptacles as necessary.
*Dust and clean classroom desks, furniture, and fixtures.
*Maintain the cleanliness of windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
*Ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained and stored correctly.
*Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
*Follow all health and safety regulations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not essential.
*Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
*Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets.
*Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery used in cleaning.
*Ability to walk, bend, push, pull and lift repetitively during working hours.
*Knowledge of cleaning techniques and work ethic.
*Good organisational skills and the ability to work independently.
