JHE & Partners are delighted to be working with an award winning and very successful company based near Mirfield as they look to recruit an experienced Payroll Supervisor to lead their payroll function. Reporting to a brilliant Finance Director, this is a great opportunity to join a friendly and stable team, taking full responsibility for a payroll of circa 1500 people. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in payroll management as well as excellent stakeholder management skills. The ability to build great relationships with colleagues at all levels across the business, from Senior Leadership to shop floor is, absolutely essential.
Key duties and responsibilities:
*Ownership of payroll function supported by two experienced colleagues
*Liaise with HR regarding joiners, leavers, absence and holidays
*Help to create and maintain payroll policies and procedures
*Ensure payroll software is full up to date
*Maintain payroll compliance with latest legislation
*Hands on with payroll processing of monthly salaries, handling queries professionally
*Provide payroll analysis and reports for FD as required
*Support the FD and Senior Leadership as required
