Full job descriptionElectrical Supervisor (National Grid) | Melksham | ContractAre you an experienced Electrical Supervisor with National Grid authorisations seeking your next opportunity within the power transmission sector?We’re working with a major contractor delivering works on a live National Grid project in Melksham and are looking to appoint a capable Electrical Supervisor to oversee site operations and ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with project standards.
The RoleReporting into the Site Management team, you’ll play a key role in coordinating electrical installation activities and maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity across the project.
Key Responsibilities
*Oversee day-to-day electrical and M&E activities on site
*Supervise subcontractors and site operatives
*Ensure all works are completed in accordance with National Grid procedures
*Promote and maintain a strong health and safety culture
*Monitor quality standards and support successful project delivery
*Ensure safe systems of work are implemented and adhered to
*Coordinate lifting operations where required
*Work closely with project managers and engineers to resolve site issues
Essential RequirementsTo be considered, candidates must hold:
*National Grid Person CP authorisation
*NS12 certification
*Lift Supervisor qualification
*Manual Handling certificate
*Proven experience in an Electrical or M&E Supervisor role
*Previous exposure to National Grid, substations, or high-voltage environments
*Relevant PPE and ability to start on site immediately
