IntroductionWe are looking for an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Chartered Legal Executive to join our team and take responsibility for a varied caseload of commercial property matters.
You will manage your own files and advise clients across a broad range of commercial property transactions, including:

Key Responsibilities*Manage a diverse caseload covering commercial leases and Landlord & Tenant matters, including leases, assignments, licences, rent deposits and surrenders.

*Advise clients on estate management and ongoing property matters.

*Handle the acquisition and disposal of freehold and leasehold commercial properties, including transactions involving occupational tenancies.

*Support commercial and residential development projects, including site acquisitions, options, conditional contracts, promotion agreements, planning matters and plot sales.

*Advise on more complex property matters, including secured lending, real estate finance, agricultural land and renewable energy projects.

*Support the Corporate team with property due diligence.

*Handle technical matters such as lease extensions, enfranchisement, title issues, portfolio transactions and compulsory purchase matters.

*Manage files effectively, ensuring matters progress efficiently and meet financial and billing targets.

*Develop strong, long-term client relationships and contribute to business development and networking activities.

*Provide guidance and support to Legal Assistants and junior team members where required.

*Maintain accurate case records and ensure all work complies with regulatory and professional standards.

Requirements*Qualified as a Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Chartered Legal Executive in England & Wales.

*Ideally 2-5+ years’ PQE with strong Commercial Property experience.

*Confident managing a caseload independently from instruction through to completion.

*Strong technical knowledge across a broad range of commercial property matters.

*Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment.

*A proactive, commercially aware approach with excellent attention to detail.

*Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine commitment to client service.

*Ability to build effective relationships with clients, colleagues and external stakeholders.

*Experience of, or an interest in, supervising and developing junior team members.

*A collaborative, positive and team-focused approach.
