*Salary: £14.67 per hour (£30,500 FTE)

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Temporary Finance Officer to join a growing finance team based in modern offices in St Mellons, Cardiff. This role is crucial during a period of significant growth and change, following the relocation to a new facility and a recent company acquisition. With a major audit approaching, this position will be instrumental in maintaining high standards in financial processes and records across multiple UK sites.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Process financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
*Maintain and update financial records.
*Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
*Respond to customer account queries and resolve issues.
*Produce accurate financial information and reports.
*Support the finance team during audit preparation activities.
*Assist across multiple areas of the finance function as required.
*Ensure compliance with company financial procedures and controls.
*Utilise Excel and other Microsoft Office applications to analyse and manage financial data.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*AAT qualification or equivalent finance experience.
*Previous experience in a finance or accounts environment.
*Proficiency in processing financial transactions and maintaining records.
*Experience in completing reconciliations and investigating discrepancies.
*Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
*Excellent numeracy and literacy skills.
*Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
*Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
*Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
*Professional and confidential approach to handling financial information.
