We are seeking an experienced Technical Accounting professional to support the business through a key period of growth and change, including the delivery of their audit.
The role will have a strong focus on acquisition accounting, consolidation and FRS 102, working closely with the wider finance team as well as external auditors and lenders.
Key responsibilities*Lead and support technical accounting activities across the Group
*Drive the audit, ensuring robust preparation and delivery
*Provide expertise across acquisition accounting and consolidation
*Ensure appropriate application of FRS 102
*Act as a key point of contact for external auditors
*Work confidently with lenders and other financial stakeholders
*Support the business through complex accounting and reporting requirements
*Provide practical, hands-on input to the wider finance function
About youWe are looking for someone with:
*Strong technical accounting experience, ideally gained in a complex or acquisitive environment
*Proven experience with Group consolidations and acquisition accounting
*Strong knowledge of FRS 102
*Experience working directly with auditors and lenders
*Must be a qualified accountant
*Excellent communication skills and the confidence to operate at senior stakeholder level
*A hands-on, pragmatic approach and the ability to make an immediate impact
*Availability to start at short notice
