Angard Staffing is the dedicated recruitment partner of Royal Mail, providing flexible workforce solutions across the UK. We recruit and support thousands of temporary workers each year, helping to deliver essential services and seasonal campaigns for one of the UK’s most recognised organisations.


The role


We’re looking for enthusiastic, reliable individuals to join our team for a magical seasonal project – Santa Mail! This is a unique opportunity to be part of something truly special, helping us deliver festive joy to children across the country.


Location: Royal Mail, Tallents House, 21 South Gyle, Edinburgh, EH12 9PB


Duration: 4-6 weeks


Hours: 32.5 hours per week


Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 10:39am - 5:45pm (30-minute unpaid break)


Pay Rate: £12.00 per hour Monday to Saturday, £14.00 per hour Sunday




Key accountabilities
As a team member, you’ll be responsible for:

*Opening and sorting incoming mail using letter-opening machines
*Reviewing and accessing mail content
*Accurately inputting data into our system using Excel
This is a hands-on role that requires precision, focus, working at pace and a strong sense of responsibility

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking candidates who are:

**Detail-oriented – with a sharp eye for accuracy and speed in data entry
*Computer proficient – confident using Excel and basic keyboard functions
*Team players – collaborative, dependable, and committed to delivering a great experience
*Physically capable – able to lift up to 10kg and push up to 250kg
*Trustworthy and professional – with a clear criminal record
