Full job descriptionMy client is a long established manufacturing business based in Birmingham and they are currently recruiting for a part-time Accounts Clerk to join their team on initially a temporary basis, with a view to becoming permanent.
Working predominantly on the Purchase Ledger, you will be responsible for processing supplier invoices, dealing with queries, performing supplier statement reconciliation, and preparing for payment runs monthly. Hours of work would be between 20-25 weekly, and you will be able to work these hours to suit you.
Skills required:
*A strong background in accounts, with at least 12 months experience working on Purchase Ledger as either part of your role or your whole role
*Have a strong command of MS Excel and be competent using finance systems
*Have excellent communication skills with the ability to build fantastic relationships with suppliers
*Ideally have access to your own vehicle due to location
