We’re seeking an experienced SharePoint Developer Engineer to join a leading digital and collaboration team delivering innovative Microsoft 365 solutions for enterprise clients. This role will focus on designing, developing and supporting modern SharePoint applications, integrating business-critical systems, and driving digital workplace solutions using SharePoint Online, SPFx and the wider Microsoft technology stack.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong SharePoint specialist who enjoys building custom solutions, solving complex technical challenges, and working directly with stakeholders to deliver impactful business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
*Design, develop and maintain custom SharePoint solutions using SharePoint Framework (SPFx).
*Build modern SharePoint applications and components using React, TypeScript and JavaScript.
*Integrate SharePoint with third-party business systems, APIs and Microsoft 365 services.
*Develop and support automated business processes using Power Platform technologies, including Power Automate and Power Apps.
*Work with Microsoft Graph and REST APIs to deliver enhanced functionality and user experiences.
*Provide 3rd Line technical support and troubleshooting for complex SharePoint issues.
*Support SharePoint migrations and modernisation initiatives.
*Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects and development teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
*Ensure solutions follow best practice, security standards and governance requirements.
*Act as a SharePoint Subject Matter Expert, providing guidance and technical leadership across projects.
Skills & Experience
*Strong experience developing solutions within SharePoint Online and/or SharePoint Server environments.
*Proven expertise with SharePoint Framework (SPFx).
*Commercial experience using React, TypeScript and JavaScript.
*Experience integrating SharePoint with external systems and APIs.
*Strong knowledge of Microsoft Graph and REST APIs.
*Experience working with Power Apps and Power Automate.
*Understanding of Azure AD authentication and OAuth.
*Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
*Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
