Principle duties:
*Development and maintenance of Linux based operating systems
*Work on Linux Distros with a focus on security
*Configure and customize components of the operating system
*Meet requirements and provide the best possible customer experience
*Deliver a product to the highest level of quality and functionality


Essential Skills:
Essential
*Ubuntu operating system
*C programming
*TCP/IP network configuration, security and components
*PKI certificate and key management
*Debian package management
*Bash scripting
*Object oriented programming in C++
*A degree in STEM or significant programming experience


Desirable
*Python programming
*Linux kernel programming
*Open source development
*Security infrastructure
