Are you a passionate Food Technology Teacher looking for a new opportunity?
I C Talent are currently recruiting for a Food Technology Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive mainstream school on the outskirts of Peterborough.
The school is ideally looking for someone to join them full-time, however, they are happy to consider part-time applications for the right candidate.
The RoleYou will be responsible for delivering engaging and practical Food Technology lessons to students across a range of abilities.
The role will include full teaching responsibilities, including planning, preparation, assessment and marking.
You will:
*Plan and deliver engaging Food Technology lessons
*Prepare practical and theory-based lessons
*Teach students across a range of abilities
*Support students with practical cooking and food preparation
*Complete planning, assessment and marking
*Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
*Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
*Encourage students to develop their confidence and practical skills
*Work closely with colleagues and the wider school team
The Ideal CandidateWe are looking for someone who is:
*Passionate about Food Technology and education
*Creative, enthusiastic and engaging
*Confident teaching practical lessons
*Organised and able to manage planning and marking
*Patient and supportive
*Reliable and committed
*A strong communicator and team player
*QTS or equivalent is desirable
*Previous experience teaching Food Technology within a school setting is desirable
