Financial Controller
Job Responsibilities:
*Taking responsibility for the delivery of the finance function and managing a small finance team
*Ensuring accurate product costing, inventory valuation, financial reporting and effective control of WIP
*Managing WIP accounting across multiple production stages, investigating variances and improving financial controls
*Working closely with production, operations, procurement and supply chain teams to improve financial performance and reporting
*Supporting month-end, budgeting, forecasting, cost modelling and continuous improvement across the finance function

Financial Controller
Essential Skills:
*Fully qualified Chartered Accountant – ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CA or equivalent (CIMA preferred)
*Strong experience within a manufacturing, engineering or complex project-based environment, with a strong understanding of production and procurement processes
*Proven experience managing significant WIP balances, with strong knowledge of cost accounting and inventory accounting
*Knowledge of IFRS inventory accounting and experience using ERP systems
