£500 per day (umbrella) | Morden, Hybrid | 3 – 6 Month Contract
We are currently seeking an experienced Estates Surveyor to join a busy public sector property team on an interim basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded surveyor with strong estate management, valuation and development experience to take responsibility for a diverse property portfolio and provide high-quality professional advice across a large and complex organisation.
The Role:
*Managing a diverse commercial and operational property portfolio.
*Undertaking and supporting valuations, rental assessments and rent reviews.
*Negotiating and managing leases, renewals, easements, wayleaves and licences.
*Leading on the acquisition and disposal of land and property, including surplus assets.
*Providing advice on development proposals, viability and commercial redevelopment.
*Supporting projects involving planning applications and complex property matters.
*Advising senior officers and stakeholders on land, property and estate management issues.
*Undertaking property inspections and advising on condition and potential maintenance requirements.
About You:
*MRICS/FRICS status.
*Significant experience across lettings, acquisitions, disposals and valuations.
*Strong knowledge of commercial property and estate management.
*Experience with rent reviews, lease negotiations and property transactions.
*Knowledge of compulsory purchase, compensation, rating and asset valuations.
*Strong understanding of relevant legislation, RICS standards and professional practice.

*Working Pattern: Hybrid – 3 days in the office / 2 days from home
