Full job descriptionAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR professional to join a values-led organisation as HR Manager. This is a broad and varied role, offering the chance to lead people initiatives, support senior leaders and drive positive organisational change.
The Role
*Lead and develop the organisation’s people strategy and HR initiatives.
*Partner with senior leaders to enhance culture, engagement and employee experience.
*Provide expert advice and guidance on employee relations matters.
*Oversee recruitment, onboarding and retention activities.
*Drive leadership development and management capability programmes.
*Review and improve HR policies, procedures and people processes.
*Lead organisational development and change initiatives.
*Manage workforce planning, succession planning and talent development activities.
*Monitor HR metrics and provide reporting to senior stakeholders.
*Champion a positive, inclusive and high-performing workplace culture.
About You
*Previous experience in an HR Manager, Senior HR Advisor, People Manager or similar role.
*Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
*Confident managing employee relations casework and advising managers.
*Experience supporting organisational change and business improvement initiatives.
*Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
*Ability to work both strategically and operationally.
*CIPD Level 5 qualified, or equivalent experience.
*Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
