REED Education is currently recruiting Cover Supervisors to work across a number of welcoming and supportive secondary schools in the Peterborough area.
We are looking for confident, professional individuals who can deliver pre-planned lessons, maintain classroom behaviour, and ensure students remain engaged with their learning in the absence of the class teacher.
Whether you are seeking flexible day-to-day supply work or a long-term position, we have a range of opportunities available to suit your availability and career goals.
The Role
*Supervising classes across a variety of subjects using work set by teaching staff
*Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
*Supporting students to remain on task and engaged in learning
*Reporting back to teaching staff on lesson progress
*Building positive relationships with students and school staff
Requirements
*A degree-level qualification
*Previous experience working within UK schools or the UK education sector
*Strong classroom management skills
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*A proactive and adaptable approach to work
*Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
