Full job descriptionOur client is looking to appoint and experienced Finance Director who can take full ownership and accountability for the financial function of the business. This is a hands-on senior role within a growing manufacturing company. The position requires someone who is comfortable rolling up their sleeves and undertaking the day-to-day accounting, while also providing strategic financial direction to the business.
Working for this small, fast paced team you will need to be:
*ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified
*Significant experience at Finance Director or Financial Controller level
*Excellent technical accounting and financial control knowledge
*A proven hands on approach
*Support the company’s growth
Responsibilities;
*Manage the day-to-day finance operation
*Produce monthly management accounts
*Manage year-end accounting
*Monitor the companies overall financial performance
*Cashflow and financial control
*Budgeting and forecasting
*Work closely with the Managing Directors
*Improve processes to make the finance function as efficient as possible
*Ensure the business remains compliant with relevant accounting and tax requirements
*Advising on any areas of sales or marketing
