Warehouse Operative
Location: Finningley, DN9 3GP
Start Date: Immediate
Hours: Monday to Friday – Fixed Shifts
Employment Type:Temp-Perm
We are currently recruiting Warehouse Operatives to join a national parcel delivery company at a newly opened site in Finningley (DN9 3GP).
This is a physically demanding warehouse role involving parcel handling, sorting, loading and unloading. Applicants should be physically fit, comfortable with manual handling and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
*Loading and unloading parcels
*Sorting and organising parcels within the warehouse
*Handling parcels weighing 25kg and above
*Carrying out heavy lifting and manual handling duties
*Completing general warehouse duties as required
*Working efficiently to meet daily productivity targets
*Maintaining a consistent pace throughout the shift
*Following all company health and safety procedures

Available Shifts:


Night Shift:
Hours: 01:00 – 09:00
Pay: £12.71 per hour, increasing to £15.01 per hour after 12 weeks

Afternoon Shifts:
Hours: 13:00 – 21:00
Pay: £12.71 per hour, increasing to £12.79 per hour after 12 weeks

Requirements:
*Physically fit and capable of carrying out heavy manual work
*Comfortable lifting and handling parcels weighing 25kg and above
*Reliable, hardworking and punctual
*Available to work Monday to Friday
*Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
*DBS check required
*Safety shoes required
*Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential
