Cedar is supporting a PE Backed global business looking to appoint a Management Accountant to join its finance team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative, people-focused organisation that offers genuine career progression within a complex international environment.


The role will include:
*Producing monthly management accounts and reporting to strict deadlines
*Preparing journals, including intercompany and recurring charges
*Delivering monthly revenue reporting and technical ledger reconciliations
*Owning balance sheet reconciliations and resolving any identified issues
*Supporting VAT and tax reporting for UK and overseas entities
*Improving reporting solutions, processes and procedures
*Producing ad hoc management information and financial analysis
*Supporting wider business planning and reporting activities
The successful candidate will have:
*Previous experience working as a Management Accountant
*A professional accounting qualification, finalist status or strong qualification-by-experience
*Knowledge of UK accounting standards
*Advanced Excel skills, including lookups, pivot tables and data manipulation
*Excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet demanding deadlines
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills
*Financial services or insurance experience would be advantageous but is not essential
