Full job descriptionWe’re looking for an experienced Personal Tax Senior to join our established and growing accountancy practice.
With a team of around 70 staff across Accounts, Tax, Payroll and Bookkeeping, this is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working directly with clients and wants to develop their career within a supportive team environment.
The RoleYou’ll be responsible for:
*Preparing and reviewing Personal Tax Returns for a varied client portfolio
*Managing tax compliance deadlines and ensuring timely HMRC submissions
*Supporting tax planning and advisory work
*Assisting with HMRC enquiries and correspondence
*Researching complex tax issues and providing clear, practical advice
*Building strong client relationships and handling day-to-day queries
*Keeping up to date with changes in UK tax legislation
*Supporting the training and development of other team members
About YouWe’re looking for someone with:
*Recent experience working within a UK accountancy practice
*Strong Personal Tax knowledge and experience
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*The ability to manage multiple deadlines and client expectations
*A proactive, organised and client-focused approach
*The ability to work effectively as part of a wider tax team
Due to the hybrid working arrangement, candidates should be reasonably local to the office, with 3 days office-based and 2 days working from home.
