Full job description(6-Month Fixed-Term Contract)
Are you looking to work for a leading organisation in Middlesbrough?
We’re recruiting a Finance Business Partner for an initial six-month fixed-term contract.
Working closely with operational and commercial teams, you’ll act as their key finance contact-providing meaningful analysis, challenging performance and delivering the insight needed to support commercial decision-making.
Key responsibilities will include:
*Owning the month-end process and producing management accounts

*Providing variance analysis and presenting clear insights to senior leaders

*Preparing annual budgets and quarterly forecasts

*Supporting new commercial opportunities, investments and projects

*Producing balance-sheet reconciliations

*Identifying and delivering process improvements

*Supporting internal controls, year-end audit activity and ad hoc projects

We’re looking for a qualified, part-qualified or qualified-by-experience accountant with strong management-accounting experience. You’ll be commercially minded, naturally analytical and confident building relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
Strong Excel skills are essential, alongside the ability to interpret financial and non-financial data and communicate your findings clearly.
The role is based in Middlesbrough, with four days per week in the office.
