The opportunityAn organisation within the Defence & Security space is looking for a Security-Cleared Project Manager to support delivery of software, infrastructure, and technology remediation projects within a Digital Backbone Portfolio. You’ll work under direction of the Programme Manager to plan and deliver projects to agreed scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
Key responsibilities*Deliver software and infrastructure projects end-to-end (initiation through completion)
*Build and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, and dependencies
*Coordinate internal delivery teams, business stakeholders, and third-party suppliers
*Manage risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies
*Track performance and provide governance / status reporting
*Ensure adherence to governance, security, change control and delivery processes
*Support budgeting, planning, and delivery oversight across stakeholders
What you’ll bring (essential)*Proven delivery of software and/or infrastructure projects in enterprise environments
*Strong stakeholder and supplier management
*Solid experience in planning, scheduling, budgeting, reporting
*Confident risk/issue management
*Methodology knowledge: PRINCE2 / Agile / Waterfall / hybrid
*Security clearance suitable for Defence & Security work
Desirable*Experience across infrastructure refresh, cloud migration, cyber security, or obsolescence remediation
*Certifications: PRINCE2 / APM PMQ / PMP (or equivalent)
