Are you a passionate primary teacher looking for your next opportunity? A welcoming and supportive school in Basingstoke is seeking an enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to join its team on a temporary basis.
This is a great opportunity for a Year 1 Teacher who enjoys working with younger pupils and creating a positive, engaging classroom where children can develop their confidence and love of learning.
The Role
As a Year 1 Teacher, you will:
*Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum.
*Create a nurturing, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
*Assess pupil progress and adapt teaching to meet individual needs.
*Support pupils with their academic, social and emotional development.
*Encourage independence, confidence and positive learning behaviours.
*Work closely with colleagues and parents to support pupil progress.
About You
The ideal Year 1 Teacher will have:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
*Previous experience teaching within Key Stage 1.
*Strong classroom management and communication skills.
*A creative, enthusiastic and adaptable approach.
*High expectations for learning and behaviour.
*A genuine passion for helping young children achieve their potential.
