Full job description Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer - Double Days Shift
Location: Ripley
Salary: Up to £50,000
About the Role:We’re looking for a proactive and experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Ripley. This is a double days shift role, covering both electrical and mechanical maintenance, supporting breakdowns, reactive and planned work across a wide range of production equipment.
You’ll be joining a small but skilled team where your expertise will be valued and put to good use in a varied and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:*Respond to breakdowns quickly and effectively

*Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance

*Work on a range of machinery including:
*Extruders, cutters, finishers, conveyors, belts, bearings, lathes, printers


*Electrical fault finding on:
*PLCs (I/O level only), inverters, drives, relays, sensors


*Mechanical maintenance on:
*Hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical drives, belting systems


*Assist in improving reliability and minimising downtime

*Welding/fabrication experience is advantageous but not essential

What We’re Looking For:*Previous experience as a multi-skilled maintenance engineer in a production or manufacturing environment

*Confident with both mechanical and electrical fault finding

*Good working knowledge of automated machinery and production lines

What’s on Offer:*Base salary up to £50,000

*Monthly production bonus - averaging £150/month
