Service Service is recruiting for an experienced TIG Welder / Fabricator to join an established manufacturing business in King’s Lynn.
This is a hands-on workshop role involving TIG welding and general fabrication of stainless steel components for specialist equipment. You’ll be responsible for preparing materials, working from engineering drawings and producing high-quality work to specification.
Key Responsibilities
*TIG weld stainless steel to a high standard
*Carry out general fabrication and metal preparation
*Set up and operate fabrication machinery, including guillotines
*Read and interpret engineering drawings
*Prepare materials and components for assembly
*Maintain high standards of quality and workmanship
*Follow all Health & Safety procedures
*Work to deadlines with minimal supervision
About You
*Proven TIG welding and fabrication experience
*Experience working with stainless steel
*Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
*Confident working independently and as part of a team
*Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality
*Flexible approach to overtime, weekends and occasional travel
*Clean UK driving licence
*FLT licence would be advantageous
What’s on Offer
*Up to £18.00 per hour
*Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm
*Overtime available
*20 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing with service up to 25 days
*Death in service benefit
