£55,000 to £60,000 per annum
Service Service is recruiting for a Mechanical Design Engineer on behalf of a well-established engineering business in Norwich. This is a hands-on role focused on delivering mechanical design solutions across a range of technically challenging projects.
Key Responsibilities
*Produce mechanical designs, assembly drawings, and detailed engineering documentation
*Develop solutions involving mechanical structures, rotating drives, and control systems
*Modify and maintain existing designs, datasheets, and technical documentation
*Identify and resolve technical challenges to ensure projects are delivered on time
*Collaborate with production, project management, and supply chain teams
*Attend design reviews and produce technical reports
About You
*HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
*Proven experience in a mechanical design engineering role
*Strong experience producing complex engineering drawings and 3D models
*Proficient in Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD
*Knowledge of working to industry standards and regulations
*Confident communicator with the ability to work across teams and with stakeholders
