This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach Key Stage 5 for the right candidate. The successful applicant will be committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning, helping students develop a love of English literature and language while achieving excellent academic outcomes.
The Role
*Teach English across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 opportunities may be available).
*Plan and deliver engaging, challenging lessons that inspire and motivate learners.
*Monitor and assess student progress effectively.
*Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives.
*Support the wider life of the school through enrichment activities and pastoral responsibilities.
The Ideal Candidate
*Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
*Has experience teaching English within a secondary school setting.
*Demonstrates excellent subject knowledge and classroom practice.
*Is committed to raising achievement for all students.
*Possesses strong communication and organisational skills.
