We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a busy and growing warehouse team. This is a hands-on role offering consistent hours and the opportunity to work within a fast-paced distribution environment.
Monday to Friday -07:30am – 4:30pm
Pay: £15.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities
*Receiving, unloading and checking deliveries against paperwork.
*Picking, packing and preparing customer orders for dispatch.
*Loading and unloading vehicles safely.
*Organising stock and ensuring items are stored in the correct locations.
*Carrying out stock checks and maintaining accurate inventory records.
*Operating warehouse equipment, including Counterbalance and Reach Forklifts where required.
*Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
*Following health and safety procedures at all times.
*Supporting colleagues and other departments to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
What We’re Looking For
*Previous warehouse, logistics, removals or stock control experience desirable.
*Counterbalance and Reach Forklift experience.
*Good attention to detail and accuracy.
*Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
*Reliable, hardworking and flexible approach to work.
*Ability to carry out manual handling duties and work on your feet throughout the day.
*Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
