Full job descriptionKenneth Brian Associates are recruiting an experienced Health & Safety Officer on behalf of a leading organisation in Croydon. The scope of this role will be to help maintain a safe, compliant and proactive working environment across the warehouse and logistics operations.
Key Duties
*Conduct and review risk assessments, workplace inspections and safety audits across offices, depots, vehicles and operational activities.
*Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
*Monitor compliance with health & safety legislation, company policies and safe systems of work.
*Deliver and coordinate health & safety inductions, training and refresher programmes.
*Maintain accurate H&S records, reports and safety observations, while promoting a strong safety culture across the organisation.
Experience & Qualifications
*2–3 years’ practical experience in a Health & Safety Officer, Coordinator or similar role.
*Experience in freight, transport, logistics, warehouse or similar operational environment is highly desirable.
*Proven experience in risk assessments, workplace inspections, audits and incident investigations.
*Good knowledge of UK health & safety legislation, with strong communication, reporting and organisational skills.
*Must live within commutable distance of Purley/Croydon
