Description
As the General Manager you will,


*Lead and manage daily operations across both transport and warehousing with the support of your management team
*Review the current structure to ensure the operation is optimised against service, cost, and engagement criteria
*Support the adoption of new TMS and WMS systems, and ensure the user and customer experience is positive
*Review and actively manage budgets against contract performance ensuring visable reports / dashboards are available to share with the leadership team
*Ensure compliance with industry regulations and health and safety standards.
*Support stakeholders to help the business growth through contract wins and retention
Profile
The successful General Manager should have:


*Proven experience managing a busy transport and warehouse operation
*Effective leadership and decision-making skills, building engagement and performance
*Strong financial acumen (P&L management)
*Proven with systems (TMS & WMS) and data use
*CPC (Essential)


Job Offer
Circa £80,000 base + Company car allowance + package
