Full job descriptionThis is an exciting opportunity to combine technical underwriting expertise with broker relationship management, helping deliver profitable growth across the Regional Motor Trade Combined portfolio.
As a Senior Motor Trade Underwriter you will be:
*Underwriting new and existing Motor Trade Combined business.
*Developing and managing broker relationships across the region.
*Supporting portfolio growth through effective trading and retention activity.
*Taking ownership of complex underwriting cases and negotiations.
*Acting as a technical referral point for colleagues.
*Using market and broker insight to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
The successful candidate for the Senior Motor Trade Underwriter will have:
*Experience underwriting and trading Motor Trade Combined business.
*Knowledge of the broker market and regional trading environment.
*Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
*Sound underwriting judgement and technical expertise.
*Communication skills with the ability to influence brokers and stakeholders.
*Dip CII, or progress towards, would be advantageous.
As a Senior Motor Trade Underwriter you will get:
