What You’ll Lead*Full ownership of end-to-end payroll across monthly and weekly cycles for 1,250 employees.
*Delivery of accurate, compliant payroll with strong controls and audit readiness.
*System and process improvements – streamline workflows, enhance automation, and modernise reporting.
*Management of benefits programmes including pensions, healthcare, leave, and reward schemes.
*Reward strategy support including benchmarking, compensation reviews, and policy updates.
*Vendor and stakeholder management across payroll providers and HR teams.
*Leadership of a small team, setting standards for accuracy, pace, and service excellence.
What You Bring*Strong leadership experience across UK payroll, benefits, and reward.
*Proven success delivering system upgrades, process redesign, or automation.
*Deep knowledge of UK payroll legislation and statutory requirements.
*Confident communicator able to influence senior stakeholders.
*High attention to detail with a continuous-improvement mindset.
*Comfortable working hybrid from Leatherhead.
