TL Recruitment Solutions are recruiting on behalf of an established and growing children’s residential care provider for an experienced Senior Residential Support Worker to join a therapeutic children’s home in Burton upon Trent.

The RoleAs a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will play a key role in providing safe, nurturing and high-quality care to children and young people within a residential setting.
Responsibilities include:
*Leading shifts and supporting the day-to-day operation of the home
*Safeguarding children and promoting positive outcomes
*Supporting care planning and risk assessments
*Completing supervisions and supporting junior team members
*Building positive relationships with children and young people
*Maintaining accurate records and reports
*Ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and company policies
RequirementsTo be considered, applicants must have:
*Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
*Minimum 2 years’ experience within Children’s Residential Care
*Full UK Driving Licence
*Strong knowledge of safeguarding and children’s legislation
*Experience leading shifts within a residential setting
*Excellent communication and organisational skills
Shift Pattern*1 day on / 2 days off rota
*Long day shifts with sleep-ins
*Excellent work-life balance
