Full job descriptionTPF Recruitment is supporting a fantastic firm of chartered accountants in Ashford with the recruitment of a Tax Manager.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tax professional to join a highly regarded and successful accountancy practice. Depending on your experience and career aspirations, the position can be tailored towards either a personal tax focused role or a broader mixed tax capacity.

You will manage a varied portfolio of clients while supporting the wider tax team and contributing to the continued growth of the department. The position will involve a combination of compliance, tax planning and advisory work.

Responsibilities will include:

*Managing a varied portfolio of tax clients

*Reviewing and preparing complex tax returns

*Providing proactive tax planning and advisory services

*Supporting clients with a range of personal and wider tax matters

*Managing client relationships and acting as a key point of contact

*Reviewing work completed by junior members of the team

*Supporting the development and training of less experienced colleagues

*Identifying opportunities to provide additional services to clients

*Assisting the partners with more complex tax assignments



Requirements*Strong tax experience gained within an accountancy practice

*ATT, CTA or equivalent qualification would be advantageous

*Strong technical knowledge of UK taxation

*Experience managing a portfolio of clients

*Excellent communication and client relationship skills

*Previous experience reviewing work and supporting junior colleagues would be beneficial
